Milawa Bakery Café's parking out the front is adequate. The bakery itself is roomy and pleasant enough. Their service is good, too. I gave a five-star rating to this bakery because of their French Sourdough. We buy it at our local IGA, and it is the best bread I have ever had, bar none. We keep spare loaves in our freezer. I cannot really vouch for many of their other products as I don't buy them except for the occasional fruit loaf.

The Wangaratta Club has been an integral part of the local community for over 100 years and is conveniently located in the central business district close to everything Wangaratta has to offer. The Club was formed at a meeting held on the 4th October 1909 at the Wangaratta Library Building. It commenced operation in rooms leased from the Commercial Hotel. Since then the Club has seen many changes and after purchasing surrounding land in Victoria Parade in 1956 the Bowling Green was opened. Extensions to the building on numerous occasions have been carried out. The Wangaratta Club celebrated 100 years of continuous operation on the 28th October 2009. A book was compiled recording the colourful history of the Club and is available for purchase. For further details contact the Club on 03) 5721 3711 or call in and talk to the staff. The Wangaratta Club is a not for profit organisation and prides itself on creating a pleasant atmosphere for all members, guests and visitors to experience. My son and i had breakfast there yesterday morning i have to say that it was the best breakfast I've had for ages, my son agrees: the staff , everyone of them, were attentive, polite, and efficient: i had savoury French toast (even though it's normally served as sweet), and i have to especially mention the way chef took particular care to get my exact requirements even suggesting a taste improvent ... what a pleasure to meet someone who took a genuine interest and pride in her creation. Needless to say that son and i walked away full bellied, contented, and with smiles on pusses. Thank you staff at Blind Freddy's.
