Kingsley Grove Estate was founded by the Berry family in 1998. Kingsley Grove vineyard lies within the South Burnett Region of Queensland near to the regional town of Kingaroy, which is about 21/2 hours drive from Brisbane. Kingaroy is traditionally recognised for growing Peanuts and Navy Beans, and has been growing wine grapes in the area since the early 1900's. More recently Kingaroy has gained recognition as one of the fastest growing wine regions in Queensland. Our vineyard is 430 metres above sea level and was established in 1998 when the first vines of the current ten varieties were planted on the site. It is currently 24 acres (10 hectares) in size and can be easily seen from the Bunya Highway, approximately 10km beyond Kingaroy, on the way to the Bunya Mountains National Park. Kingsley Grove take great pride in operating a self-sustaining winery with the concept of From Berry to Bottle. This means that we grow all the grapes used in our wine-making in our own vineyard and use our modern, fully equipped winery to create our wide range of wines. This allows us to make an extensive range of wines that includes traditional wines and more innovative styles that are designed to suit the Queensland climate. By using this approach we aim to produce wines that reflect our Queensland rationality, displaying the unique qualities of the South Burnett climate and soil, and making wines that are suited to the Queensland palate. These wines, which we call our Queensland Range, are made with these principles firmly in mind and have allowed us to produce some exciting wine styles. Kenilworth Dairies has a rich history in the dairy industry. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Mary Valley and Sunshine Coast hinterland it is no wonder our products are fresh and full of passion. The dairy industry is nothing new to fourth generation dairy farmer, John Cochrane. Originally from Kin Kin, John was taught the ‘ins and outs’ of dairying from his Father and Mother, Alan and Mavis Cochrane. For the past 93 years a Cochrane has represented Queensland dairy farmers on various dairy boards, a real testament to the family’s passion and commitment to the industry. As many farmers know, dairy farming is hard and only for the truly passionate. Over the years John watched as many of his neighbours and friends sold their properties to stay afloat. As a result, John transformed his passion for dairy farming into something great. In 2017, John Cochrane became the new owner of the Kenilworth Cheese Factory and renamed it to Kenilworth Dairies. John envisioned Kenilworth Dairies as a way of supporting and ensuring the survival of local farmers in the region. Within weeks, Kenilworth Dairies was sourcing milk from local farms in the Mary Valley. One farm being Johns own son, Kelvin Cochrane in nearby Kandanga. Kenilworth Dairies will continue to support local farms and their families for generations to come.

The Chocolate Cottage Café began in April 1997 from lifelong dreams of Kaye wanting to start a chocolate shop and teahouse and husband Colin owning his own restaurant.
