The Sunshine Coast Churches Soccer Association Inc was established on 14th September 1974 and became incorporated on 18th November 1988. The need of a Saturday soccer competition had been seen by various churches for some time. In mid 1974 representatives from churches were invited to an informal discussion and an association was established. The Association covered from Caloundra to Cooroy-Noosa, recruiting got under way to form two competitions one being an under 10 years and the other an under 13 years, starting with approximately 140 playing members.
