Since 2013, MLB Hair has been a leading hair salon in Cairns. We owe our success to consistently putting our clients first. Our staff make it a point to listen carefully to our clients’ haircut and/or upstyling preferences, making recommendations as needed. We also love listening to their stories during the haircare treatment and addressing any questions they have. When you visit MLB Hair, you can count on leaving satisfied. In addition to owner, Merrilyn Buckley, our team consists of Francisco (our male hairdresser) and Macey (our apprentice currently in her third year). We are always welcoming and we will strive to accommodate your preferred schedule time. At MLB Hair, we have decades of experience working with TIGI colouring products. This means you can enjoy less colour fading and more lasting shine and gloss. We also offer keratin smoothing and chemical straightening.

Frank is a fantastic creative hairdresser who I book in with. The salon is beautiful and welcoming by everyone who works there. The owner is amazing and I know others who see her to have their hair done who are always happy. It is priced fair compared to other salons I’ve been too in the past. Highly recommend to check them out in the Northern Beaches. Even if you live elsewhere in Cairns and not on the North side- it’s worth the drive.
