We are a one stop shop for dreadlocks, dreadlock extensions, maintenance dreadlocks, repairs, adornments & dread products in Sydney. Before founding Dreadlocks Sydney in 2013, I devoted my career to hair care. Working as a hair stylist after leaving school, the first 15 years of my career provided opportunities to travel, work in salons all over the world and launch my own. Having become drawn to the authenticity of dreadlock enthusiasts, I left styling for good when I started up Dreadlocks Sydney and I have spent the last 6 years focusing solely on dreadlocking. Having been inspired about how service-focused many of my clients were, I undertook social work studies and now split my time between dreadlocking and working as a counsellor.

Emma did my hair and makeup for my wedding as well as my sister, two friends, two daughters, MIL and mother. Her and Yulia did such a fabulous job. Everyone was so happy with their hair and makeup and it lasted all day. I wanted to feel glamorous on my wedding day but still look like me and Emma did that so well. We decided on the day to go a little more dramatic on the eyes while keeping my skin glowy and showing my freckles. I’ve never felt more beautiful than I did that day and I cannot thank Emma enough for her fabulous work! 10/10 recommend booking her in if you’re considering it!
