Hi my name is Melissa and I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Strategic Psychotherapist and I run Zen Mind Body Therapies. I use solution-oriented therapy and hypnosis to help clients learn how to overcome some of the self-imposed obstacles that could be standing in your way and then I help you to find solutions to problems rather than reasons for why they exist. I am very much focused on the “how” you things rather than “why” and I strive to help you learn the best coping mechanisms for dealing with certain issues that may trigger you and cause you to overthink things or make decisions that do not benefit your wellbeing. I use Hypnosis to create a state of focused attention which allows for me to access my clients unconscious mind and help them to re program some of the less effective strategies that have been holding the client back with progress in various aspects of their life. I help my clients determine how their unconscious processes and programming might be getting in the way of being able to navigate effectively through various issues or problems that they may be currently experiencing.
