The East Maitland Academy of Dance is run by János Szabó, a member of the Hungarian National Ballet who took over the school, which was establishedin 1947, in 2009. The aims of the school are to create an optimal learning environment in order to enable the students to achieve the highest level they are capable of in the genre they wish to pursue. Classical Ballet training provides the technical support base form which all the other genres of dance benefit. Students are guided by highly skilled professionals in Classical (R.A.D), Vaganova, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary and Musical Theatre.

iDance Performance Co is a Port Stephens dance studio, offering classes in a variety of dance styles. We provide classes and instruction for children of all ages, including classes for tiny tots and boys. iDance can help your child learn jazz, contemporary dance or hip hop. We also teach cheerleading. Our instructors love to watch children develop a passion for their chosen style of dance. Each year our students take part in annual concerts, so parents can see their children in action. We also have performances throughout the year.
