Thick, overgrown vegetation like this is a great hiding spot for dangerous snakes, which can pose a threat to pets, humans and the snakes themselves. It's also a major fire risk and with the fire season coming up it is important to get on top of it before it is too late. This hill has slopes of up to 35 degrees, which is not a drama for our machine (it can do its thing on slopes of up to 55 degrees!).

We waited a while to get the road done but Mackay Earthworx did a great job & the pricing was reasonable. We are on a steep hill so the run off down the hill in heavy rain is amazing & it erodes terribly. Dave suggested reclaimed road asphalt. He agreed to put a couple of minor speed bumps or dips so that water running down the road would be diverted. He also put the nice council style pipe collars that have a flat horizontal base & a protruding vertical wall to help water control & reduce silting. Dave did a full featured job, bob cat, water truck, bob cat, trip truck with asphalt, bob cat, proper road roller... & the result shows it. I asked him to put a large top drain at the top of our hill as a diversion to reduce the water running straight down. It was made wide & low profile so maintenance or fire fighting vehicles could easily cross it. We had some very heavy rain without any wash issues & the drive up is smooth. Now I need to put up No Through Road signs...

Had two large trees near a house and shed to be removed and rang Woody's. These guys were so prompt and had this extremely large job done very quickly and efficiently. Woody even took the time to relocate a sleepy carpet snake that had made one of the trees his home. Would happily and confidently recommend these guys any time.

Jenny and her husband were very easy to deal with. We recently dry hired a JCB 225t track loader and slasher. They delivered the machine up to Proserpine and Jenny drove up to do the machine induction. Very happy with our choice to hire from Mackay Bobcat and we'll do again
