Whilst Andrew’s passion for gardens and design began in his youth in country NSW. After making a change of career he re-started literally at ground level. Working in the field of garden maintenance and construction provided invaluable experience into the vast world of plants and gardening along with hands-on experience with the bricks and mortar of landscape construction. Four years of night study later and a Diploma of Horticulture and Landscape Design in hand Andrew Pearce Landscape Design was established. Early in his career Andrew benefitted from working as a Landscape Design contractor to a number of Sydney’s renowned landscape design firms. He gained a broad experience from the varied design styles of these companies and brings this knowledge to his work some 20 years later. The learning is ongoing and he continues to follow social and design cues and learn from professional designers and amateur gardeners alike.
