Taekwon-Do is, arguably, the most dynamic and academic martial art in the world, with a genuine ranking system, code of ethics, conduct, cultural discipline and promotion of health, well-being and personal safety. It is also the most popular of all martial arts world-wide. Senior Master Rhee was also assistant to the Taekwon-Do founder, General Choi Hong Hi, from 2000-2001, travelling with the general internationally and assisting in his teaching. ITFA Rockhampton operates under the instruction of Mr Evan Pritchard, IV Dan International Instructor and Grading Examiner. Fully qualified and possessing an active Level 3 registration with Fitness Australia, along with a Blue Card and First Aid certification, Doug's expertise extends beyond martial arts. We are the Pioneer and Largest Mixed Martial Arts Club on the Capricorn Coast. We Teach Muay Thai Kickboxing, Boxing, BJJ and Self Defense Classes. We are a family owned and operated club with over 50 members in training and are proud to be locals. Our students range from 10 to 60 years old and the goal of our club is to provide affordable self defence classes to the community by use of our social martial arts club were all fee's go back into the club to improve equipment and fund the sports progress. We have now opened our full time training centre in Yeppoon.
