Travelling through Grafton from Brisbane and the car suffered a collapsed wheelbearing late in the afternoon. Trevor and the lads stayed back late to fix the vehicle and also provided a report on other issues which will need attention. The guys at Michael Mooney Automotive Engineer provides great service and was very friendly. They helped me clear up a defect with my motorcycle. They were very ethical and explained the laws clearly! Only downside is there's no EFTPOS so make sure you bring cash otherwise no complaints

These guys are the best brake specialists I have ever got to do work for me, yesterday after. Being let down by a different company, I was in a desperate position, I told them I needed help and they literally dropped everything they were doing despite it being .mid afternoon on a Friday, and did everything they could to get us back on the road so we wouldn't be stuck in town over we the weekend, 80kMs from home, not only did they do a great job they did it for a good price, to be honest I was shocked, the art of chivalry is not dead, these young men were so decent, well mannered, honest, caring they were genuinely great guys, I'm sure their families are really proud of the type of people they are. yes I did get a response and it worked out very well. I usually take my car to a place in Tweed heads but they were not able to get me in before my rego ran out and I had some bad experiences trying to charge extra for something that was not necessary as per advice from RTA. I had to take my car somewhere else and as a result had to pay twice but Mullumbimby they were great not trying to con people with the pink slip process quick and effective.

Thought I had a problem with Ford Territory transmission. After a thorough check by Jade who showed us each step of his service process, no fault was found, but he noticed a faulty tyre which caused a steering noise. Replaced the tyres and solved the problem.Not part of the transmission service but very perceptive of Jade to notice. Very happy with the service and price. Thoroughly recommend Ballina Automatics.

Stokers VW Parts is the place to go for Volkswagen spare parts in Byron Bay, the Northern Rivers and even further afield. For more than 40 years, our business has been keeping VWs on the road. With skilled motor mechanics trained in VW servicing, we can assist with all repair work. We provide comprehensive servicing, as well as motor vehicle inspections and testing. Our workshop is stocked with Kombi spare parts, as well as parts for other VW models. At Stokers VW Parts, we supply and fit Kombi parts for Byron Bay and Northern Rivers customers. We made to move to Byron Bay in 2013 when we joined with Byron Classic Cars Mechanical. Our mechanics are experienced with VW's from early air cooled to current models. Amazing work. Everyone I have dealt with went out of their way to help me, quite beyond the task at hand. To have a mechanic at the front counter is so helpful- she was so efficient and gave such great advice. They can even make bespoke parts for your car.
