The Kinross Woolshed is a relocated shearing shed that was moved from Holbrook, north of Albury, in 1988. The Woolshed was rebuilt using the original materials and keeping true to its original features. The building's origins date back to the 1890's when it was one of the busiest shearing sheds in Australia. For over 100 years Wangaratta RSL Sub-Branch have been serving the local community, veterans and their families. Starting from very humble beginnings, and then occupying our Reid St site for 67 years, 2019 saw the opening of our new venue at the site of the old Sydney Hotel, which the building still pays homage too.
