About
Evolving Workshop Techologies (EWT) commenced trading in 2006; launching with the installation of the second EWP prototype into an existing commercial workshop pit. The EWP soon became a highly-regarded option during new workshop pit installations. Natural progression moved to pre-fabricated, drop-in pits built with an operational EWP for a near turn-key solution; and then a relocatable workshop pit facility with a pit and EWP. The Elevating Work Platform (EWP) is a custom designed work platform fitted to an existing or new pit. This innovative design is based on the reliable cable suspension system. The platform is hydraulically driven and controlled by a hand held remote transmitter which is proven to increase efficiency and productivity, faster access to vehicle undercarriage and further reduces fleet downtime as service crew can access the vehicle at different levels at the same time. The platform adjusts quickly to ideal height using the hand held remote transmitter while working.
