Mayfield Veterinary Hospital was established in 1979 and has grown into a leading veterinary hospital for the local area. Conveniently located with on- site, front door parking, we offer an array of veterinary services, including vaccinations, desexings, microchipping and surgery, as well as puppy preschool and laser surgery. The fully computerised practice is equipped with modern medical equipment such as in-house pathology system, the latest x-ray equipment, ultrasound and advanced anaesthetics to ensure the best care for your pet. We have very experienced Vets. They have recently completed numerous post graduate courses and conferences to update and further their skills and knowledge. We provide all manner of routine Veterinary Services (vaccinations, consultations and treatments, surgeries, veterinary foods and supplies) to a wide variety of pets including dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, reptiles and other exotic animals as well as sheep and goats usually in the comfort of your home. We are NOT an emergency service (like "doctor to your door") as generally we are unable to provide the same facilities in home that your nearest hospital or the Animal Emergency Service could supply in these circumstances AND we don't work on weekends or after hours.

Dr. Emma Leary graduated from the University of Sydney in 2008 and has 10+ years of veterinary experience. She provides accurate and peaceful veterinary service for pets using a calming approach and detailed diagnostics. Dr. Leary enjoys the academic challenge of complex cases and has a special interest in endocrinology and soft tissue surgery. In her free time, she spends time with her family and pets, stays fit, and enjoys cooking, baking, and gardening.

Wendy Fisher, DVM, is a highly regarded veterinarian in New South Wales with a noteworthy career. She has practiced in both the UK and served as CEO at the bustling AREC for several years. Her love for her profession, combined with her extensive medical knowledge and compassionate nature, has made her a respected figure in the field. Dr. Fisher thrives on the challenge of complex medical cases and goes the extra mile to alleviate an animal's suffering and diagnose the issue. Her expertise in ultrasonography is a valuable asset in her practice, making her diagnoses accurate and efficient. When she's not working, Dr. Fisher enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones and staying active.

Westlakes Veterinary Hospital provides a boutique consultation appointment to enable the vet to provide a thorough consultation and build a strong relationship with our clients and their pets. We have an in-house lab, ultrasound and x-ray machines for accurate diagnostics.
