The Port Stephens Community Arts Centre is run by its volunteer members. Our aim is to promote and encourage the development of arts and crafts in the greater Port Stephens area. Over 400 members produce an incredible range of artwork and special craft pieces reflecting the great skills of the local region's artisans. Members come together to assist each other, grow and learn from each other, and simply to enjoy the company of likeminded people. Our Community Arts Centre enables members to find their favourite Art or Craft with plenty of community around them to share encouragement, knowledge and skill. The Port Stephens Community Arts Centre delights tourists to the area by allowing them insight into the community, a chance to view and purchase unique locally made creative items and if they have additional time to join in and learn from our inspiring community of artisans

Delve into your creative mind and come and join one of our arts and crafts classes. From card making, china painting, embroidery and handicraft we have the perfect group suited to your preferences. Our friendly staff encourage all groups to get involved on a weekly basis. You will never be bored and will be proud of the work you have achieved. The art centre gave me an introduction to art and design at just the right time in my life journey. There is a welcome atmosphere and heaps of artists at all levels sharing their love of the arts. It is a supportive community, providing encouragement to try new things. I love it! Cory
