This is in a quiet location yet still close to all amenities. The place is neat and tidy and staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a great low budget motel. I will definitely stay again.

This was a great place to stay at. It is accessible from cairns city and there is plenty of parking space. They also provide primary breaky (bread butter cornflakes etc.). The staff are all helpful though front desk is not available 24x7, they will still make sure you have been provided access.

Felt very welcome from moment we walked in. Clean rooms quiet and fantastic views. Was convenient to have resturant on site and really enjoyed the breakfast.

This beautiful rainforest hideaway is high up in the mountains and owned by Christian organisations. It’s suitable for a peace and quiet and for those who love nature. Families with small children are also welcomed there. I have stayed in this motel many times.

I did get a response, although I was offered a good deal, unfortunately I am unable to accept for personal reasons.

Such a lovely relaxing rural break. Total contrast to the coast and The Daintree. Like Bowral but in FNQ! Clean and spacious place, friendly staff and peaceful atmosphere.

Lovely service, good pub food and nice clean accommodation at a very reasonable rate. I'd definitely recommend the Malanda Hotel Motel for a budget night in a classic Aussie pub.

The accommodation here was delightful! Very large, airy and clean rooms. The grounds were tropical and well-kept. Owners were so lovely and very helpful. Over all, it made for a very homey, calming stay.

Yellow, Blue, Red, all colours different in every room, showing high taste of the new owners. Very comfortable rooms, facilities, surroundings and great hospitality. Will not at all hesitate in recommending this motel for your stay in Port Douglas. It's also very centrally located and with within walking distance to all amenities.

We stayed here in July 2017. Great local outback pub, clean place and quiet location. There are only 5 units at the hotel and they are very basic but we found them extremely clean and comfortable. There are no TV's in the rooms which was a bonus for us also no internet. Very friendly owners. There was a band on at the Hotel on the Saturday night. The average age of the group was mid 60's but they were absolutely awesome! We had a wonderful time and wouldn't hesitate in staying there again.
