About
arpet Call is the largest 100% Australian owned flooring retailer in the country. Starting from humble beginnings in 1975, with a total capital outlay of $270 and a carpet rack that was found partly submerged in the Brisbane River, Smith, a young father at the time, opened his first one man store at Alderley, on the Northside of Brisbane. The shop was so small that the carpet had to be rolled out into the street to be cut for his customers. Believing in the core values of customer service 24hrs a day, 7 days a week, Smith quickly expanded opening more stores throughout Brisbane. Carpet Call became a house hold name in the 80’s becoming synonymous with the “call call carpet call“ jingle. Carpet Call has based itself on the belief that providing good customer service with a free in-home measure, colour consult and product display lets customers have the freedom of an informed and educated choice before deciding to purchase, which makes for happy customers. Expanding throughout Australia, these core company values still remain the same today. Flooring can be a difficult and time consuming process we like to think we make it as simple and as easy as possible. Carpet Call can provide for all of your flooring needs, including carpet, timber, laminate, vinyl & floating floors, as well as rugs.

About
At Provincial Home Living Albury, we have crafted an inspiring collection of homewares and furniture to transform your home into an escape from the everyday hustle and bustle. A place where time slips by, a place where you and your loved ones can relax in the warmth of your surroundings. We believe your home can be a place that evokes pride and passion, as well as a place that invites relaxation and harmony. Provincial Home Living helps you create your sanctuary with homewares and furnishing that are distinguished by their timeless style and reliable quality at an affordable price. We pursue timeless style that transcends passing fashion or trends from provincial destinations around the globe. Designed in Melbourne, manufactured around the globe, Provincial Home Living will nestle in your heart. Provincial Home Living originated in Wangaratta's Reid Street early in 2002 where the Provincial founders owned a small store. Beginning as a hobby, the generic manchester store reopened it's doors with a fresh outlook on retail, bringing a new approach in homewares and furniture which was readily embraced. Following the success of the Wangaratta store, a site became available in Bendigo, then Ballarat and so the Provincial Home Living adventure really began. The journey continued through the years and country Victoria opening another seven stores. The concept of the products and the presentation was refined and then inroads were made into Melbourne, Canberra and Albury. In 2012 the first superstore was opened in Adelaide, followed by another in Mornington, Victoria. The opening of our first Sydney store in December 2013 and most recently the opening of two Brisbane stores in 2016. In just over 20 years Provincial Home Living has grown from one small country store to a large business with 35 stores across Australia and the aspiration to open more superstores. Provincial Home Living is still proudly family owned and managed.

About
The Kinross Woolshed is a relocated shearing shed that was moved from Holbrook, north of Albury, in 1988. The Woolshed was rebuilt using the original materials and keeping true to its original features. The building's origins date back to the 1890's when it was one of the busiest shearing sheds in Australia. Kinross Woolshed is one of the most popular dining and entertainment venues on the border as well as a must see tourist destination for people visiting Albury Wodonga. Over the past few years many of the music industry's biggest stars have performed at the Kinross including international '80s stars Belinda Carlisle and Rick Astley as well as Australian stars such as Jimmy Barnes, Vanessa Amorosi, Joe Cameliri, Diesel, Shannon Noll, The Whitlams, Lisa Mitchell, Jeff Lang and many many more. Known as the home of Country Music on the border with the cream of Australian Country artists all appearing including Adam Brand, Beccy Cole, Adam Harvey, James Blundell, Gina Jeffreys, the Sunny Cowgirls, the McClymonts, Jetty Road and even Chad Morgan. One thing is for certain - There is always something happening at the Kinross Woolshed.

A great afternoon, all in all. The atmosphere is great, but misting fans would have been amazing! They have great food, too.

About
Ritchies is not only Australia’s largest independent supermarket and liquor company we are also one of the oldest. Founded by Thomas Ritchie in 1870 on the Mornington Peninsula VIC, Ritchies now employs over 6,000 people across Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland. From a single store in Frankston, Victoria, Ritchies has grown to a network of 76 Supermarkets and 65 Liquor stores along the east coast of Australia. Ritchies involvement and support of our local communities is part of our DNA. Our first “loyalty” program saw Thomas Ritchie giving back a penny for every pound to the local community. Through our Ritchies Card program, we’re continuing this legacy by giving back to our local clubs, schools, and charities. The future is bright at Ritchies with store upgrades and continued investment in the business and our team.
