About
The Coochin Creek Fruitgrowers Co-operative was established in Beerwah in 1936 as a supplier of produce and a merchandise center for local fruit and vegetable growers. From humble beginnings, founded by 19 local farmers, the Co-op has grown and expanded into the large-scale retail outlet that it is today. Remaining true to its original ties, the organization is solely owned by local shareholders and supports the local community. We have a strong culture of investing in the future of farming. We conduct education seminars on farming and employ young people interested in forging a career in the primary production industry. The Co-op consists of several major specialty area departments which combine to provide customers with a single outlet that supplies most of their rural and domestic household needs.
