We popped into Mod Thai Shoal Bay on Sunday for lunch. First impression? Fab looking restaurant and bar on the beachfront. Second impression? Super smiling and attentive staff. Third impression? Sensational Thai food. YOU MUST GO TO MOD THAI!!!!!!

Jacob says they serve very tasty food and he couldn't fault them. He ordered green chicken curry and Massaman beef and both dishes were served in reasonable portion sizes. Lunch special for $13.

I have never thought of reviewing Sticky Rice Thai Restaurant, even though we get takeaway from here so often! However, after eating very ordinary Pad Thai take way from the Hunter Valley, we realised how good this restaurant is. The soups are wonderful.Noisy restaurant but recommend take away.
