The primary goals of an Occupational Therapist when working with children is to improve their functional performance across all environments and enhance their capacity to interact within their physical and social environments. The Physiotherapists at the clinic can provide therapy for: Physical developmental and gross motor issues: including children and teenagers with Cerebral Palsy, Brain injury, Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD). Musculoskeletal disorders for example, Scoliosis, Scheuermanns, Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome, Severs Disease, Sinding Larsing, Os Good Schlatters, Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis. Pre and post orthopaedic surgery: for example, anterior cruciate ligament repairs. Acute and overuse sporting injuries: for example, ligament sprains, dislocations, rehabilitation post fractures including avulsion injuries and stress fractures.
