In addition to providing counselling services in the community I have co-ordinated and facilitated a weekly 12 step recovery programme at The Berkeley Centre for five years through a local church. I believe that being heard is a vital first step in the process of feeling better and that a safe therapeutic environment is a necessity when beginning the journey towards psychological, emotional and spiritual health.
