Residing in the Northern Territory for 40 years, I have now moved to the Shoalhaven/Nowra area. I have a natural conversational style, with a relaxed personable style that facilitates an "at ease" environment with clients. I cater for all genres ranging from weddings, portraits, events to architectural & real estate photography. I am experienced in all forms of photo restoration and retouching. With the flair of a fashion designer and the ingenuity of an architect, Mike's style can be described as vintage glamour meets contemporary fashion. Born in 1959, Mike was obsessed with photography after he was given his first camera at eleven. After completing high school in 1975, Mike moved from his hometown of Tamworth to Western Australia. After working with modelling photographers back in the days of film he developed the skill set for glamour photography. In 1984 Mike joined the Northern Territory Police Force whilst still undertaking professional photography work. Retiring from the police force in 2024. The desire to help people has always been a character trait and this led to joining the Heartfelt Organisation that provides free photographic services to families dealing with terminal cancer and to those families who have infants sadly passing away at birth.

To be entrusted with capturing the joy and sometimes sorrow of possibly the most important day in the life of two people is an enormous responsibility which I take very seriously. And I will always endeavour to deliver the best images that I can possibly produce so that their wedding day memories will stay with them forever. For me one of the most rewarding parts of my profession is the look on the faces of my clients when they first see their images or video from their special day and all the emotions from the laughter to the tears from their wedding day are replayed in my studio.
