EASY COMPOSTER Assisting the environment Nickel Engineering designed and started manufacturing the Easy Composter back in the mid 1980s at our factory in Brisbane. Most of the compost bins that were available at the time were static compost bins that sit on the ground and took weeks some times months to make compost and were difficult to empty. We were making hot water systems at the time and we were able to use some of the parts and come up with what I think is a better compost bin, easier to use and makes compost in just 14 days.
