Pied Piper Preschool first opened over 50 years ago, and has been an important and much-loved part of the Wallerawang community ever since. We’ve been in our current lovely building (which was constructed by the community) since 1991, with the playground undergoing a wonderful renovation in 2013. The preschool sits atop the hill in Wallerawang, with fantastic views over Lake Wallace (Wang Dam). We provide high quality preschool education for children aged 3-5 years. We also provide a 2 year old session for younger children on Friday mornings. We follow the Australian Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) which has learning through play and relationships at its foundation. We believe that children should be able to be children, with opportunities to explore, discover and understand the world around them, and to communicate, imagine and create. These things are at the very heart of a Pied Piper day.

At Bathurst Early Learning Centre we provide a home away from home and love, nurture and educate your child. Our program gives all children equitable access to excellence in education and the highest standard in quality care and provides creative and cognitive development opportunities. The Bathurst ELC team will become part of your family, giving your child a warm, caring environment to develop the skills and confidence your child will need for a successful transition to “big” school. Everything we do centres around helping your child on their way to reaching emotional and physical milestones at their own pace. We care about giving them the best head start to their life-long learning and education and to develop their individuality and wellbeing. You can rest easy during your working day knowing your child is receiving the very best care. And everything is provided, including nappies, wipes and nutritious meals from our commercial kitchen.
