Central Coast Eyecare is a family owned independent optometrist, located in Gosford on the Central Coast. We have been providing quality eye health and sight examinations since 1950. Complementing this, we sell only quality eyewear with extended warranties, and use Australian made lenses by Carl Zeiss Australia. You may have known our practice as Casey and Crossfield Optometrists, and prior to that, as McFarland and Casey Optometrists. We are not the kind of business interested in package deals with the priority of having you buy glasses no matter what. Many of the chains are interested in this model of Optometry, not us. And that is why, many people come to us for a second opinion, or with the reassurance that we are interested in ensuring your eye health is examined comprehensively, with glasses a second step. This leads to our consultations. They are not your 20 minute fast and furious variety of some of the major chains and discount optometrists. You have your eyes only once. As such, our consultations are much longer and more in-depth, and we use best practice clinical and diagnostic equipment, with which we use to then liaise with your doctor or specialist.

One of the friendliest and happiest workplaces I have ever been to. The staff are clearly happy in their jobs and take pride in the service they offer. Phil did my eye test and was so thorough and explained everything so well, different the previous experiences I have had with other places I’ve been. Highly recommended!
