Luke Redman the owner of The Financial Crow - mortgage broker is an energetic and driven professional educated at Newcastle University - Bachelor of commerce Accounting and Finance. He also has a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking from the Institute of Strategic Management and is currently completing his chartered accountancy with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Luke has a wife, Jamie and three daughters, Madison, Mabela and Millicent. They relocated to Australia in 2019 after 5 years in West London where they had renovated and sold their London home. They decided to buy a property in Bribie Island, Queesland which is close to Jamie's parents at Redcliffe and a shorter flight (then from London) to Luke's parents in Newcastle. Whilst in London Luke was the Commercial Director for a Financial Technology (FinTech) business. Luke was instrumental in writing the credit and risk policies for the business along with the training of the teams to implement these policies. The business worked with Santander, Investec and Siemens Financial Services to name a few. Previously to this Luke was an Associate Director for Capital and Cashflow solutions at National Australia Bank (NAB). In this role he trained numerous bankers in credit writing and gave them a clear customer focus helping to improve their NPS score.It is from his last two roles where he has worked with customers and Brokers, his financial acumen, passion in building wealth, housing and helping people out why he decided to start this business. Luke truly cares about getting the best deal for you and helping you plan and prepare your strategy to maximise your wealth and enjoyment in life. Luke wants to work with you throughout your life to make sure you are getting the best benefit out of all of your financial products. Luke is highly educated in this field and has practical experience buying and selling houses, renovating houses, buying investment properties across many states in Australia and internationally. This can give you added comfort that he understands the pain points and wants to make it easy for you.Growing up in Australia Luke has a love of the outdoors, sports and doing the right things by your friends, family and anyone he can help.Through his working life it has remained important to him to enjoy every day making sure he has the right work life balance. This has led him being able to make time to holiday and travel the world extensively visiting in excess of 50 countries as well as have plenty of free time to spend with his family. Luke would love to be able to help you get the right work life balance and improve your personal finance situation at the same time.
