SPC first opened its doors in Cairns city in 2001 and never stopped growing. Djarragun College is an independent, Anglican, coeducational school which caters specifically for Indigenous students. The College promotes excellence in education with a strong emphasis on Christian values. The College has two campuses at Gordonvale and Wangetti, managed by one Principal/CEO and administration team with two different teams of staff. The Gordonvale campus (13.6 hectares) opened in 2001 and has a current enrolment of 420 students from pre-prep to grade 12 and post-school vocational education and training.
