Michael & Kristin Robinson have been the proud owners of Raine & Horne Noosa Hinterland since September 2010. "Not many people realise, but the Raine & Horne Office in Pomona is the longest standing real estate in the Noosa Hinterland area and has been in the same building the entire time. Chatting to previous owners of the business, we have narrowed the opening of the office down to circa 1984, it was one of the first Raine & Horne offices to open in Queensland. I actually started working in the office when I left school, before heading off to study and having a family", explains Kristin. Michael & Kristin have both grown up in the area, with Michael being a long time Cooroy local & Kristin moving to Pomona at the age of 7. Opening the Cooroy office in September 2015 while still retaining the Pomona office was the logical move for the couple to capitalise on their history and knowledge of the area. This move has seen the business go from strength to strength, with both Pomona & Cooroy offices still operating successfully amongst the closure of a number of other offices. "We are very loyal people & are exceptionally proud of and committed to the Raine & Horne brand, you will not see us jumping & changing when it suits. We are Raine & Horne through and through and enjoy the supportive family nature of the business". Away from the business Michael & Kristin enjoy spending time with their teenage children, working on the family property, camping & spending time near the water. If Michael is not busy running Open Homes on the weekend, his perfect weekend would see him up the beach with a fishing rod in one hand and a beer in the other while Kristin relaxes reading a book. Michael & Kristin both agree that being married & successfully working together as business partners has its challenges, but the highs definitely outweigh the lows. "Our team are our extended family
