Family owned and operated, Coughlan's Swim Centre provides swimming and fitness classes to swimmers of all ages and abilities in Newcastle. Our professional and friendly Newcastle swimming coaches provide quality learn-to-swim programs to all levels of ability, from babies through to adults, to help everyone achieve their goals. We also provide a full range of parent and child classes, aqua aerobic classes and hydrotherapy sessions, as well as general swimming in a safe and fun environment. All of our pool facilities are located indoors and heated, with a purpose built teaching pool, 8-lane 25-meter pool, and a specialised, separate baby pool to ensure that every swimming requirement is met safely. The Lakeside Leisure Centre is a Port Stephens Council owned community Aquatic Centre, managed by the YMCA. We have a 50m outdoor pool, and a leisure pool. We offer a range of aquatic programs including learn to swim lessons, squads, aqua aerobics, inflatable fun days and birthday parties.
