Friday nights (4 to 10pm) come alive on the Burnett River with the transformation of Bundaberg's old Marine College facility into an amazing array of international street food and retail/arts/crafts stalls to wander through. Really pleasant atmosphere which is good for both adults and children. Lots of various food outlets and bars to drink at. Will be back.

By far the best mushroom sauce I have ever tasted. Perfectly cooked steaks. Excellent calamari rings, with the seasoning to match. Staff are always friendly and polite. Great children's play area well maintained and clean.

Have been going to Sugarland. Tavern for many years, and found it an excellent place for a meal. Last Sunday was different. Main meal was served in a reasonable time, but we ordered coffee and dessert. Big mistake. Waited 45 minutes for coffee, which was cold, and dessert came out 10 minutes after. The desserts were pre made so I don't see why the two weren't served earlier and together. With 3 young children it was a long wait. No apology. Just a grumpy waitress. Mind you the desserts were very good, but not worth the wait.. no more ordering dessert for us.
