Preordered Christmas seafood by phone - lovely young man took the order and gave pick up information. Arrived Christmas Eve to see a huge line up at the front of the shop but orders were from the back office - quick friendly service there as well- Our order was ready and packed in syrofoam Fantastic service at this busy time of the year. Excellent food here, always fresh and lovely and the service was great too. Prices are good, not too expensive, in fact they have a lunch time special where you can order a meal served with Fried Rice for $9.00. We had the Mixed Entree, Duck in Peking Sauce, Fried Rice and King Prawns with Cashews and Vegetables, and 2 Cokes for only $54. We were charged 80c for the take away containers as we couldn't eat it all!

My lovely friends decided to take me to Palace Chinese and even though it was a Wednesday evening, they were crazy busy! I haven't seen a restaurant this busy on a Wednesday ever! We had to wait a little longer than the 15 minutes we were told (about 35 mins) which wasn't great but the staff literally didn't stop, busily taking orders at tables, at the counter, on the phone and handing out food. Very impressive. The food was fabulous and worth the wait, I can see why it's so popular. There were quite a few other Chinese restaurants that we walked past while waiting but all with very few customers. They were definitely all at the Mandarin Palace! Highly recommended.

This a good place to stop in for a quick pub meal or a few beers. The place is clean, staff are good to deal with and friendly and their food is decent. Can't go wrong.

We stayed close by so it was convenient and decided to drop in for a cosy dinner. It was pretty good and the staff were very friendly. Had a nice cold beer which hit the spot. Quick service too.

Had a beautiful meal at the Pub last night. The barramundi was excellent and the pizza and pasta delicious. Service was very efficient, highly recommended.

My lovely friends took me to have dinner at Raya Chinese Restaurant late last year. All staff were so very friendly and there were lots of visitors. We order the meals and they come out very prompt. The meals are very good and came out in decent size portions too. This place is also worth a visit. Really lucky to have this restaurant in a country town like Alstonville. Hopefully be back again next time we visit.
