The Wangaratta Club has been an integral part of the local community for over 100 years and is conveniently located in the central business district close to everything Wangaratta has to offer. The Club was formed at a meeting held on the 4th October 1909 at the Wangaratta Library Building. It commenced operation in rooms leased from the Commercial Hotel. Since then the Club has seen many changes and after purchasing surrounding land in Victoria Parade in 1956 the Bowling Green was opened. Extensions to the building on numerous occasions have been carried out. The Wangaratta Club celebrated 100 years of continuous operation on the 28th October 2009. A book was compiled recording the colourful history of the Club and is available for purchase. For further details contact the Club on 03) 5721 3711 or call in and talk to the staff. The Wangaratta Club is a not for profit organisation and prides itself on creating a pleasant atmosphere for all members, guests and visitors to experience. Milawa Bakery Café's parking out the front is adequate. The bakery itself is roomy and pleasant enough. Their service is good, too. I gave a five-star rating to this bakery because of their French Sourdough. We buy it at our local IGA, and it is the best bread I have ever had, bar none. We keep spare loaves in our freezer. I cannot really vouch for many of their other products as I don't buy them except for the occasional fruit loaf.

Had lunch with my wife today. Lamb cutlets for her (3 huge). Grilled fish for me got two peices of fish, only expected one. Sauce provided was different at first but totally added to the meal. Compliments to Chef. Very friendly staff.

Located in Corowa NSW, along the beautiful Murray River the Corowa RSL Club has been a staple in the community for decades. From the moment you walk in you will be thrilled with the venue and what we have to offer. With a stunning light and bright club lounge perfect for a wine or coffee with friends, to a wonderful Bistro with a fabulous alfresco area perfect for those summers days. We have many options available for the kids with a state of the art indoor kids room and an outdoor playground meaning they are sure to be entertained whilst at the club. Lunch is available in our Café from 11.00am -2.30 pm Tuesday - Friday and our Bistro from 11.30am - 2.30pm Saturday & Sunday. Dinner is available in our Bistro from 6.00pm Tuesday to Sunday. Running across three levels we have impressive function spaces suitable for any occasion, whether it be a glamorous wedding with views of the hills from our top balcony, a concert in the high tech auditorium, or even a conference. We also have a new addition of the Silks lounge which has been an incredibly successful new feature of the Club. We don’t want you to think of Silks as a TAB, so full disclosure if you attend on a Friday or Saturday night and are hoping to kick back in a TAB, odds are we will be booked and or it may be a little loud for you. However, if you are after a place to catch up, enjoy plenty of laughs and of course a fabulous cocktail - you are going to love Silks!

Gary says their coffee is very good and the burger has to be one of the best he's ever had. Amber Rose opens at 4:30 am. The cafe is very pleasant and you can sit and look around at some of the antiques and memorabilia. The service is excellent, too. They were very friendly and pleasant.
