“Our rural house of wood and mud brick construction from the 1990s had deteriorated due to weather, notably decks and steps and stairs connecting levels. Lachlan’s crew had done previous work, so when a much larger external staircase became dangerous, we asked him to construct a flight of stairs to with an existing upper deck. This complex job was completed over several days by the team of 2 or 3. The results are solid but elegant - with merbau again for appearance - see pictures of ‘before’, ‘during’ and ‘after’ for evidence. All done with good humour and highly competent team-work and always good communication about the plans and delivery. We strongly recommend Lachlan and his crew especially for complex jobs (but aren’t they all ?). Peter Cranston, Windellama”
