During his postgraduate studies Matthew received a commendation from the Masters of Applied Science Program Assessment Board for academic achievement. Matthew brings a wealth of clinical experience in the treatment and prevention of a variety of acute and chronic health concerns. Matthew is an experienced and fully qualified Chinese medicine practitioner. He is registered as an Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbal Medicine practitioner with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia www.chinesemedicineboard.gov.au which is administered by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency www.ahpra.gov.au While Matthew is highly skilled and proficient in Chinese medicine he has also worked in Western medicine settings for many years. He has seen the strengths and weaknesses in both systems and uses this knowledge to get the best possible outcomes for his patients. Having a different perspective to Western medicine, Chinese medicine can often cast light on conditions which modern medicine has difficulty treating. There are many conditions where the treatment with Chinese medicine alone or in conjunction with Western medicine produces superior results.
