KML Contracting provide excavation and earthmoving equipment hire to Emerald and the surrounding districts. Our Caterpillar machinery range includes D6R and D7H dozers, a 623B Scraper and 140H grader, as well as a backhoe, water truck and 20-tonne excavator. Using our specialised machinery, we perform a range of earthmoving tasks, including the construction and repair of levee banks and dams anywhere in the Emerald region. In addition to these services, we can also design and compound a contour bank for you that will safely channel water away from slopes and reduce erosion. KML Contracting conduct removal of waste from creek beds and banks that have become overloaded with sediment, or we can rebuild creek environments that have been ravaged by erosion or damaged by stock. Our dozers and graders make short work of clearing fence lines and fire breaks, expertly removing stumps and creating a flat surface to begin with. We also offer stickraking to gather deadwood from your paddock or to clear your block so that development can begin. We will happily conduct small or large projects, from constructing a driveway to contracting with a large mining corporation. In addition to clearing blocks and roads, we also offer a road gravelling service and topsoil retrieval service. KML Contractors are available for short or long term projects, including fencing, road construction and repair or excavation services.
