Tull's Tree & Garden Service is a small business that has been active for 5 years. As the owner and service person in the business, I do the quoting, advising, coordinating and implementing of many aspects of the work. In the last year, my jobs have ranged from domestic large and small tree pruning and removal to commercial large tree removal where I have often worked in tandem with earthwork machinery to bring trees down safely and quickly. I have 3 years experience as a climbing supervisor on tree work teams when working for other companies. My experience in the tree industry includes coordinating large tree works for some of Sydney's and Darwin's prominent localities (Woolhara, Randwick, Sydney City and Concord. I am a skilled rope access tree climber, able to remove most hazardous or difficult trees and palms. With my personal rope access system combined with a professional rigging system and using a subcontractor to perform controlled lowering of sections of the tree, I am able to dismantle large trees overhanging structures (assets) safely. I have a considerable botanical knowledge earned from studies and work experience in tree work, bush regeneration, gardening and agriculture. I am a trained bush regenerator. I have monsoonal climate vegetation understanding from studies and work experience in both Cairns and Darwin. I have worked as a supervising climber in both cities and have also worked for Charles Darwin University's Centre for Tropical Wildlife Management implementing Field Studies in Kakadu National Park (studies of vegetation in open Savannah Woodland for Fire Management Data).
