We decided to use Nick Ryan Removals for a local move in Dubbo. Initial contact was good and professional. One the move day, the removalists were on time and friendly. After the first hour, the pace of removing furniture reduced considerably, despite all items being packed and boxed before hand. This continued at our end destination. The move of a 3 bedroom plus study house over a distance of 1.3km, ended up taking over 8 hours. No steps. Both single level dwellings with direct access. It got to the stage where my wife and I moved furniture towards the truck to show our annoyance, to no avail. Our previous move, with the same possessions in Sydney took 5.5hrs which included a trip of 25km in Sydney traffic. I questioned the bill with the owners, who although polite, shrugged their shoulders and said all times were documented. When I emphasised how slow they were, I was again subject to indifference and told 'it's not Sydney'. 8 hrs. Not good enough.
