Coffee Guru Crace is a cafe located in the suburb of Crace in Canberra, Australia. It is a popular spot for coffee lovers, as it offers a wide variety of coffee drinks, all made with house-roasted, single-origin beans. Coffee Guru Crace also has a menu of sweet and savory treats, including pastries, sandwiches, and salads. Our coffee has its origins in Ethopia and so we thought it fitting to choose Arabica beans from this region to form the basis of our Premium Blend. It gives our coffee a great, earthy body. The inclusion of a fine Robusta coffee from India enriches this blend, while the other Arabica coffees from Central and South America and Uganda add complexity. Our Premium Blend coffee is bold but not bitter and has a long caramel finish. At source, all our coffees are fairly traded and are often certified organic and rainforest alliance as well. We monitor climate conditions at our roastery, store raw coffees in food grade silos, roast in small batches, include roast dates and taste coffees. We roast on a daily basis to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

I love that even during lunchtime, you can still order breakfast here. The food they serve is of amazing value for money, they have a really friendly staff, and I'm very impressed with their food and service.

Discovery Café opened in 2014 and offers CSIRO staff and guests delicious food and exceptional coffee with a touch of personality. Situated in the Discovery Centre on the base of Black Mountain opposite ANU, it is a great place to relax and enjoy the glasshouse like feel of the building with views across Acton and up to Mount Ainslie. Open for breakfast from 7:30 to 10:30am and serving lunch from 11am to 2pm there are options to suit everyone. From our gourmet breakfast and lunch menus to hot dishes in the bain marie and of course options for those on the run. Marvie and Wolfe was established in the Canberra CBD in 2018. We use quality ingredients that are treated with care to deliver a great tasting product at a fair price. Meats are smoked onsite and we make our own sauces, pickles and condiments. Our lunch menu is focused on rolls and salads, with frequently changing specials to make the most of seasonal produce. For brekkie, we’ve got a range of delicious English muffins along with some classic favourites. We aim to provide our customers with great food and drinks, delivered quickly, so they don’t waste their time lining up for food. Our coffee is sourced from boutique Sydney coffee roaster ‘Little Marionette’. Marvie and Wolfe is the first cafe in Canberra to offer this specialty coffee.

As a UK expat, owner/chef Geoff and his partner Kate (a Canberra local) spent quite a lot of time searching for the perfect location for a cafe where Geoff could create a menu honoring his Celtic roots. As soon as they saw the space in Hall, they knew it was the one - a peaceful, relaxing setting surrounded by open space and natural Australian beauty. After running a successful doughnut business, Bombolini Doughnuts (a staple at Canberra’s Capital Region Farmers Market, Southisde Farmers Market, The Forage, Handmade Markets and more); Geoff and Kate thought it was time to expand on Geoff’s talents as a chef and take the plunge in opening a cafe. The result is Kynefin. A little cafe in Hall, where simple things are done well. Here at Kynefin we make homely, British-influenced food that makes you feel good. The word Kynefin (pronounced kin-ev-an) is Welsh for one’s habitat, or a place where they feel comfortable and familiar. Our philosophy is simple tasty food, we try and keep things relaxed and enjoyable. Geoff makes nearly everything in-house, including bombolini doughnuts, cakes, breads, jams and chutneys, chai and hot chocolate blends and more.
