About
At Mareeba Kid's Campus, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of achievers. We are the largest early learning business in Mareeba with 3 centres at Hastie Street, Constance Street and Dunlop Street. Our educators pride themselves on maintaining a happy and safe environment in which the kids in their care can develop a love of learning. We accept children aged 0-17 and are a community based non-profit organisation. Mareeba Kid's Campus is much more than a Mareeba child care centre. We are all about instilling integral literacy, numeracy and social interaction skills. Our educators understand that all kids have their own interests and approaches to learning, and they are committed to devoting their time to help accommodate the respective needs of each of the children in their care. About
Our gorgeous historic school of 230 students, is located in the picturesque village of Yungaburra. Yungaburra, which is situated in the historic heart of the Atherton Tablelands (a little more than an hour’s drive south west of Cairns in Far North Queensland), was established in 1890, and is listed by the National Trust of Queensland. Many of the original buildings can still be seen in the quaint village centre. Our town is not just known for its historical significance. The area is a haven for wildlife. Here you may see platypus, tree kangaroos, wallabies and a large variety of birds. Go on a nice walk along Peterson’s Creek near the town centre and who knows which rare Australian animal you may be lucky enough to see.

About
Our school has served the Millaa Millaa community since 1918. We were once a larger school community in the days when there were prosperous timber, dairy and beef industries in the Millaa Milla area. Our town had mechanics, butchers, a baker and a butter factory. Now our student numbers fluctuate, but on average are approximately 65 pupils. We have a stable rural family core and a small number of families that tend to move from year to year. This produces a school with a wonderful environment where the children have pride in themselves and an appreciation for community values.
