All our lessons are half hour private lessons held at our Pinelands studio. We have tuition available for all levels in guitar, piano, bass guitar and ukulele. Whether you want to play music for your own enjoyment, play in a band, or study music at a higher level, Darwin Music School is the right choice for you. All ages welcome, 9 and up. Irish dance classes in Darwin and Palmerston for beginner, intermediate and open dancers ages 3 years and over in Darwin and Palmerston taught under the tuition of Andrew Roberts TCRG (registered with the Australian Irish Dancing Association and An Coimisiun le Rinci Gaelacha CLRG) and TCRG candidate Sarah Galton. Classes are held all year round on Sundays 1-3.30pm at Malak Community Centre and Wednesdays 5.30-7.30pm at Gray Community Hall. Costs are capped at $10 per class with discounts for multiple classes and family members attending. Regular workshops are also held throughout the year and dancers have the opportunity to compete interstate, representing the school at local feis, States and Nationals. Learn the amazing genre of Irish Dancing with MFK Academy of Dance NT. If it's for fun, fitness or competition; we have a class for you. Tuition is available for dancers of any dance experience and from age 3 up. Michelle Burgess - Founder and Principal teacher - has over 40 years of experience to share with you and is currently the only teacher registered and permitted to teach Irish Dance in the NT. Here in the NT we also have two wonderful experienced assistant teachers to further support our dancers throughout their journey. In 2013 four of our NT dancers competed at both State and National level. Regular classes are held at The Howard Hall in Howard Springs with room available to offer further classes and private lessons.
