Our team of physiotherapists, led by Tim Jones, Julieanne Jones and Cindy Murphy, can provide a range of treatments aimed to help relieve pain in the back, neck, joints and muscles. We have programs aimed at helping athletes and dancers. These programs can help those with injuries or those looking to help improve mobility or performance. Our physiotherapists can also help postoperative patients. At Forerunner Physio, we are workers compensation and DVA approved. We also accept HICAPS and can bulk bill most treatments. Port Macquarie Physiotherapy & Pilates is a clinic offering the combination of experienced physiotherapists and highly trained clinical Pilates practitioners in Port Macquarie. Our clinic treats your injury in a relaxed and friendly environment and offers the option of clinical Pilates as part of your rehabilitation program. The goal of physiotherapy is to offer a long term solution to your injury. Physiotherapy aims to diagnose, assess and treat people with movement problems to restore normal function. Physiotherapists are highly trained practitioners in diagnosing injuries in all areas of your body, from acute sports injuries, to chronic work related injuries, to arthritic conditions, postural dysfunction's, in both the young and the elderly. We work closely with specialists and GPs and if there is any condition that requires medical or surgical intervention, we will recommend the most appropriate pathway. All our physiotherapists use a variety of techniques to optimise healing and minimise pain. We then prescribe exercises to maximise joint mobility, stability, and hence a long term solution for a happy body. Private health rebates, HICAPS and EFTPOS facilities available. All physiotherapists can treat Workcover, Third Party and Veteran Affairs. Our clinic uses DMA clinical reformers and trapeze apparatus, barrels, balls, weights, wobble boards and mats. Appointments are available outside normal hours just give us a call!

I have attended sessions of Physiotherapy and Pilates with Kathy Lawrence for nearly 30 years. Kathy and Catherine operate a professional and efficient practice. All staff are friendly and helpful and I recommend this practice to anyone requiring physio treatment or Pilates sessions.

At Lake Cathie Physio, our staff can provide kinesio and sports taping products to help patients keep their muscles and joints well supported. A Pilates reformer and trapeze table are used at our location. Don't let pain and impaired mobility prevent you from living life to the fullest. At Lake Cathie physio, we offer treatments for migraines, postnatal pelvic and back pain, as well as stiff and sore joints. My Dad attends a weekly exercise class. He is always welcomed with a smile and treated with respect and dignity. Jack is professional and is very aware of Dad's individual needs. I very much appreciate how he keeps an extra eye out and notices when Dad needs a little extra care. He works collaboratively with Dad's doctor to give wholistic medical care and listens to family members to ensure that Dad's exercise needs are well met. Even at 92 this service is servicing Dads physical and social needs well.
