CQ Physio Group provide physiotherapy, massage and dietetic services as well as work with a wide range of other allied health therapists under the one roof to provide a holilstic and seamless health service. CQ Physio Group has evolved from a single practice, originally known as Rockhampton Physiotherapy Centre. Rockhampton Physiotherapy Centre had been established for twenty-four years, originally situated in Alma Street and then William Street before expanding to larger purpose built premises at 1 Kent Street, Rockhampton in 2009. The move to Kent Street has been integral in attracting and retaining new physiotherapists to the region, allowing for the provision of a wide range of services, second to none in Rockhampton. The Group employs 17 physiotherapists, a massage therapist and a dietitian and enjoys strong working relationships with our subleasees to enable us to integrate allied health services. This ensures we succeed in our goal of helping people to meet their physical potential throughout life. Our association with other physiotherapy practices and allied health professionals aids in this process too. Services CQ Physio currently supply to corporate clients include: Return to work programs and work hardening Pre-employment screenings and vocational assessments Musculoskeletal rehabilitation Post-orthopaedic and post-surgical rehabilitation Exercise prescription Jobfit job task Analysis and pre-employment functional assessments Lectures and presentations on manual handling, injury prevention and ergonomics Integrated allied health services As the group is the largest in the Central Queensland region we are able to provide a seamless and uninterrupted supply of either on-site or in rooms physiotherapy services 50 weeks per year and up to 4 physiotherapists at a time (weekdays and/or weekends) to undertake on-site assessments and/or training if a large volume of staff require it. All of our physiotherapists are Jobfit trained in both Pre-employment functional Assessments (PEFA's) and Job Task Analyses.
