We’ve been transforming the look of homes and businesses in Victoria since 1987. Malbek Painting was established by Laurie Kaine and his partner Greg Reeve. The name Malbek was created from the initials of Laurie and Greg’s children Matthew, Andrew, Laurie, Ben and Kate. Ten years on Malbek Painting employed Laurie’s sons as apprentices, Andrew Kaine then Matthew Kaine who are providing quality painting services for Malbek Painting today. Laurie has now retired, yet he always seems to be there when certain projects require his experience! I am extremely happy with the repair to my 2022 MG HS by Barry James Ballarat and APIA insurance. After coming to grief on the Western Highway, near Ararat, Victoria, my insurer, APIA, towed the car to BJ at Ballarat. APIA and Barry James kept me updated all the way, with messages and phone calls. And the office staff were sympathetic whenever I phoned. My main concern was the repair of the radar systems, such as collision control and lane assist. I shouldn't have worried, everything is back to perfect working order. In fact, the car looks and drives like new. I thoroughly recommend Barry James! A good experience. And the process took weeks rather than the months as estimated by other local repairers.
