I am a Diploma Certified Beauty Therapist with over 15 successful years of experience in the beauty industry. I have worked in some of Brisbane's award winning salons and have received constant training in a broad range of treatments, using a varied selection of skin care ranges. I am absolutely passionate, professional and dedicated to what I do. My aim is to offer ladies beauty and spa treatments in the comfort of their own chosen environment. There will be no sound of telephones ringing, other clients or doors opening and closing. My full attention will be yours exclusively and disturbances non existent; allowing you to truly relax and drift away, while I pamper your body, mind and soul in absolute tranquillity. Started in 2006 in a very humble home salon. Owner, Rhi, ventured on to open her first salon in 2016 in an outer suburb of Townsville, trading as Stylish Beauty & Nails. In 2017, Rhi was voted Townsville’s Best Manicurist, and eventually the team outgrew the Kirwan salon space and decided it was time to find a bigger space that would see incredible growth & change for the brand. In 2022 Powder & Polish took out the title of “Townsville’s Best Nail Salon” for the second time together with the 2022 Small Business Champion Award, presented by the Commonwealth Bank.

SpeedyTan salon, having been in the tanning industry for a long time, has developed its own brand of spray tanning solutions with a colour to suit everyone. We mix and personalise each tan to suit the client even contouring your abs and shading of collarbones, legs and arms. Our funky retro salon is comfortable and discreet. Our only rule is nobody apologises for their body here as we are all beautiful. Dulcie Speed and the SpeedyTan girls also do tanning training for salons and private tanners. With many years experience, we have many tips. We also sell our products to tanners and salons. Walk-ins available from 4pm. No appointment needed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
