This year our school celebrated 100 years of educational excellence and tradition in Maleny, proudly welcoming back over a 1000 past students, staff and community members. As a new principal to Maleny I was overwhelmed to see so many people return from all around the globe with the common theme being that their school days in Maleny were, 'the best days of their lives. At Maleny we value family ideals and strive to create a warm, supportive, school climate that promotes a sense of belonging and encourages students to be motivated self-regulated learners. We recognise that education of the whole child is essential and that as learners children are at all different stages. Our students perform well academically and thrive in our extension GEMS Program that stimulates and challenges children to be the best they can in writing, maths, science and art. Dive into our heated 6-lane indoor 25 metre swimming pool or splash around in the open 8-lane 50m pool during summer. Whether you're 3 months old or a seasoned swimmer, we have swimming lessons tailored to all ages. Join our Adult Fitness Squad or Aqua Aerobics classes to boost your fitness levels. Welcome to Swim Fit Chinchilla, the Chinchilla Aquatic and Fitness Centre! Immerse yourself in our friendly community-oriented facility, boasting a newly renovated, heated indoor 25m pool and a delightful outdoor 50m pool. For your little ones, we offer a shaded children's play pool while you rejuvenate at our poolside cafe. All ages, from 3 months to adults, can enjoy swimming lessons year-round.
