My coaching philosophy is in line with the modern 'mechanics over technique' approach - understanding that everyone is built differently, hence the importance of complimenting a player's natural dynamics with consistently executable swing patterns that fall within the range of acceptability. As a level 2 professional tennis coach and school-based squad trainer, I'm able to build rapport, engage the disengaged and motivate developing players to realise their potential. I'm a former South Coast and Nationals junior player, coached by world renown coach Gavin Hopper (former coach of Monica Seles and Mark Philippoussis) and spent time training in Florida at the Bollettieri Tennis Academy. Private lessons can be held at Southport (court hire included) or at your private court on the Gold Coast. I'm able to supply balls & equipment at private courts if required (included).
