Shepparton Lawn Tennis Club is one of Victoria's premier grass court tennis venues, boasting 22 grass courts and 4 synthetic grass courts under lights, enabling play all year round. With a membership of about 300, all levels of tennis are catered for: junior and senior teams compete in Saturday competition; midweek ladies on Tuesdays and Thursdays; and the hugely popular Pre-Christmas and Post-Christmas twilight competitions. Several tournaments are hosted throughout the year including the Shepparton Easter Tournament, Goulburn Valley JT & AMT Championships (Silver Series) in January and the Shepparton Junior Classic JDS in December. Coaching is available from a Tennis Australia qualified Club Professional Coach. Set in a spectacular location adjacent to Lake Victoria and alongside the Goulburn River, the club is within walking distance to motels, hotels, the caravan park and central Shepparton.
