From the barnstorming days of the country's oldest regional aero club, through the WW2 RAAF flying training school and a top-secret British bomber squadron, to the post-war Qantas and gliding eras. The uniquely designed museum building, with its roof reminiscent of an airfoil, is the result of some 6,000 hours of voluntary labour by Narromine Aero Club members and others. Only stayed overnight but definitely will revisit. The new young owners are so lovely and very accommodating. Their friendliness and enthusiasm will make this a great park for us all to enjoy. Nice gardens and new plantings so going to keep getting better.

Andrew says they did not get any whingeing from their 5, 7, and 14-year-olds. The picnic grounds had excellent views over the creek. The $50 cave entry for a family was a bit steep but the walk was excellent. It was just the right length for the younger kids. The spot was great for a family day trip.
