Coolum Surfing School is owned by Chris and Genevieve Kendall, located on the naturally refreshing Sunshine Coast, only 90 minutes north of Brisbane and 15 minutes north of the Sunshine Coast airport. The Sunshine Coast offers some of the warmest water in Australia, where you can surf all year round seven days a week. Coolum Surfing School is a family owned and operated business by Chris and Genevieve Kendall for more than 12 years. They specialise in private surf lessons and can cater for everyone's needs, individuals, families, school camps and even a stressed out corporate who want to wash away their worries. Give yourself the thrill of a lifetime and enjoy the natural high of surfing while also having a great physical and fun workout! Learn to surf with one of Coolum Surfing School's local and professional surf instructors (male or female) all very experienced and competent surfers who's passion is passing on the stoke of surfing. Learn to surf, intermediate to advanced coaching: Coolum Surfing School offer lessons for the total beginner through to advance level surfing. With the use of our video analysis and their highly skilled and experience surf instructors Coolum Surfing School will have you improving your surfing in no time. They also have a professional photographer that will capture your rides and have them edited and stored straight onto your own recycled bamboo USB stick so you can take your surfing memories home with you. Coolum Surfing School have 2 hour beginner surf lesson every day from 9 to 11am, where you can join in with others to learn the basics, discounts available for 3 and 5 lesson packages. Additionally there is a 1.5hr private surf lesson is the best tuition available, you get to choose the day and time. The private lesson is available to individuals or a group of friends or family. We can cater this lesson to your needs. All equipment including wetsuits is supplied so all you need is a towel, swimmers and a smile! Coolum Surfing School use safe soft learner boards, and have a vast range of boards to suit all types of body sizes and abilities. The Vegemite Surf Groms programs are offered all year round, a national junior development surfing program that encourages kids to participate in surfing around Australia. Coolum Surfing School instructors support the Surf Groms from level 1 to level 5 of Safe Surfing. Coolum Surfing School offers Surf Groms programs before and after school, weekends and holidays programs.

Enjoyed the time at Wappa Falls Observatory. Learnt and saw a lot of things which is great for us. Excellent commentary by Owen. We have been to a few observatories - all have been worthwhile for us. We learn new things each time.

From the moment you walk in the front door where you are greeted by happy and informative staff to wondering through the museum rooms filled with the amazing display of our heritage and items from all around the district. Everything is clean and a bonus on hot sticky days a chance to stay cool in the AC rooms while your there. So many rooms and out the back sheds more to see with some of the old sugar cane trains . They even have a room set up as an old post office. The best thing to do is go see this yourselves, I'm sure you wont be disappointed

For our anniversary a few months ago, my boyfriend and I spent a lovely two nights here. The room was beautiful. And even through a storm that knocked the power out, Julie gave us service that was beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. It was an unforgettable holiday for me and my loved one. It was phenomenal. There was even enough food to keep us going for nearly the entire trip. Sorry for the late review, but we will definitely be coming back!
