Twisted Gum Wines is owned by us - Tim and Michelle Coelli. We live and work on the vineyard seven days a week. It is our home, our business and our passion. We are passionate about the amazing wines that can be produced from our little patch of land in the Granite Belt, with this wonderful free draining granite soil and heavenly mountain climate. At Twisted Gum Wines we craft small quantities of premium quality single vineyard wines from our hand-tended Granite Belt vineyard. Come experience our full flavoured crisp white wines, our hugely popular Pink Moscato and our signature deep inky-purple red wines - you are sure to find something to excite your palate.

Established in 1998 by Spanish couple, Tom and Cath Jimenez. At the time their vision to experiment with alternative varieties was iconoclastic for the region – a tradition continued today at Ridgemill Estate. Fast forward to 2004, leading Brisbane project manager, Martin Cooper, was contracted to manage the development of the Queensland College of Wine Tourism. While building the college, he’d developed a love for the landscape, the lifestyle and the wines of the Granite Belt. During his opportunities to explore he stumbled across Emerald Hill. Martin was drawn to its natural beauty and the great promise of its wines. Seven days later the Cooper family purchased the property. We endeavour to minimise our intervention in the winemaking process, at the same time we stand by our promise to you, to create wines that have elegance and finesse.

Michael and Lucille are well-known Granite Belt tourism operators, having owned and managed several businesses in the region. Whether travelling for business or pleasure, guests who stay at the Granite Belt Motel, often return time and time again, taking advantage of the great location, comfortable surroundings and good old-fashioned friendly hospitality. The Stanthorpe and District Historical Society has operated the Stanthorpe Heritage Museum since 1970. The collection is maintained and presented by members of the Society. All items are donated by the local community and carefully restored and/or cleaned and displayed by our volunteers. Ceramic Break Sculpture Park is the brainchild of bronze sculptor, Kerry Cannon. The park features three galleries; the largest gallery boasts a mezzanine with an art library. The galleries exhibit both paintings and sculptures by Kerry and many local artists. There's also a sculpture walk and a bush walk which leads to "Ceramic Break". Ceramic Break is an uninspiring rock mound where a participatory artwork is in progress. People are encouraged to bring a ceramic pot to the mound and break it! Ceramic Break Sculpture Park opened August 16, 2003. It is a relaxing place to appreciate art and enjoy the scenery of rural NSW.

We have a collection of old buildings which show the variety of furniture, clothing, implements etc. which illustrate how people lived in the past. Outdoors, the old threshing machines, ploughs, carts and wagons give a picture of life at that time and show the ingenuity and strength these early pioneers demonstrated to make this settlement successful.
